I love the transition from summer to fall. When daylight fades sooner and there's a chill in the air. Makes chasing light on a photo shoot that much more urgent, especially when shooting in the woods!
I met up with a beautiful family in celebration of the couple's 25th wedding anniversary. A 25th wedding anniversary is a great excuse to get family photos taken, don't you think? They came dressed to the nines in gorgeous sarees (the ladies) and complementary shirts and ties (the gents). We battled hairdo-threatening wind gusts and quickly-fading light, but we pulled it off. Kudos to the family for smiling nonstop for over an hour, hiking from scenic location to scenic location and taking orders from me without complaint! They were awesome. Here's a look at our shoot--from individual family member portraits to group variations, we were all over the place!
Daughter and mother, both stunning! Sister and brother, artfully complementing each other (thanks to their mom!). The gents, looking so dapper. The light was right, so the daughter got her own modeling shoot. Why not? The matriarch of this family has a gorgeous smile (and a heart to match). ... and let's not forget how we got here. This couple has been married for 25 years. Kudos to them!
Happy anniversary to the couple, and thank you to the family for letting me capture your colors and light!
