Spring arrives in Portland

Wow, today was a stunner. Not only was it crystal clear without a cloud in the sky, but it got up to 74 today! That sun felt incredible after months of on-and-off rain. Made sure to make the most of it and discovered a new park to hike in and explore. Hoyt Arboretum has winding paths, trails, great views and trees of all kinds. Took the 'Magnolia Trail' for some springtime inspiration.

I love when the sun filters through the trees and lights my path!

Those white magnolias are so clean and perfect. Smelled pretty nice, too!

Introducing Spring and Almost Spring

I love seeing flowering trees contrasted against the giant evergreens and douglas firs.
The Pacific Northwest really does have the most beautiful trees.

Portland daffodil

This lone daffodil looked unappreciated, so, here he is.

Nice clear view of Mt. Adams (left) and Mt. St. Helens from the arboretum.
Everything's covered in moss around here. And I love it.

Followed this sunlit path to get me back home. Such a gorgeous day!
